Local Resident Opens FirstLight Home Care of Southwest Florida

FORT MYERS, FL – (April 8, 2014) — FirstLight Home Care, a provider of quality, affordable, non‑medical in-home care for adults, is now open in Southwest Florida.

FirstLight Home Care of Southwest Florida is owned and operated by local resident Brian Anderson. Located in Fort Myers, the company will service residents living in Lee and Collier counties, including Port Charlotte, Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Sanibel, Captiva, Boca Grande and Punta Gorda.

Prior to opening FirstLight of Southwest Florida, Anderson worked in various aspects of the commercial oil refining business and owned several small businesses.  After spending time as a caregiver helping to stabilize his aging parents, Anderson was urged by his wife, Nancy, a registered nurse specializing in home health care for more than 30 years, to become involved in FirstLight Home Care.

By opening FirstLight of Southwest Florida, the Andersons are able to use his extensive management and ownership experience and her knowledge of home nursing services to impact the community in a positive way, providing southwest Florida residents with in-home care services and new employment opportunities.
