I have been using this company service for over 3 years. My husband is a veteran and needs full time care. We had gone through so many care companies but First Light care of Salem is the best one. The team management are excellent and very professional. They are very easy to work with because through the VA program some time it is not easy. I got a chance to work with First Light Home Care of Salem. They are good to work with. They are very professional and have a geat communication, friendly, easy to contact them because they have a great them support and listen to what the client need.
My husband has Alzheimer’s and needs 24/7 supervision. I have been using caregivers from First Light for over 4 months to give myself some respite a few days a week. They have been wonderful! Always punctual, kind, friendly, and professional. If a caregiver needs a day off, the agency tries very hard to find a replacement. Our regular caregiver 2 days a week, Cheyenne, is amazing. She somehow gets lots of housework done and also keeps a close eye on my busy husband. I feel so lucky to have her, and also confident that he will be safe with her when I am away from home.
Our FirstLight caregiver is warm, friendly and cheerful. Recently she remained extremely calm and helpful in an urgent situation. Being hard working with a positive upbeat personality makes her a joy to be around. She takes very good care of my husband. We love her.
Julie was scheduled to be with my mother for five days. She was always here ahead of time worked very well with my mother and also cleaned up around the house.
FirstLight Home Care made contact with me when it was noted they would take care of mom during the period needed. They came to the house and made sure what was needed would be in the scope of work. Prior to the time to start the work a conformation call was made about times and dates with a schedule for Julie to visit the house and cover the needs and expectations we had of the work.

We started with First Light some time ago. My Husband is who receives their Services. Like any time starting a program,
and having people in our home, takes some getting use to. Yet First Light has always been there to listen to any concern
we had and to give support and listen to any problems I had as a wife getting use to others in the house.
I found the staff they sent in were great, and very teachable and caring towards my husband. They also were concerned
for my needs and often asked to help me, and made sure I was doing okay as well.
