My father was under the care of First Light from May 2023 until he died in June 2024. Denise Maceron was outstanding. The kindness and support she gave to both my mother and father was just amazing! She bent over backwards time and time again to ensure there were excellent nurses & cna’s taking care of my father. We could always count on her. There were several times when she came to the house herself to help with my father. She was such a good support to my mother and our family. We appreciate her so much. What would we do without Denise Marceron? She has taken great care of Mom’s sitters assignment. Her nursing background affords us the comfort of her words and recommendations when we have had questions about Mom. She’s the best. We’re very happy with First Light.

Amanda has been a tremendous help coordinating the care of my 97 year old father. She keeps me up to date on how he’s doing since I’m out of state and don’t have daily contact with him. It’s a pleasure to work with her.
Amanda is one of the coordinators staff very helpful and goes above for the client’s and outside work, extended herself off the clock always meeting the clients request and aids. She’s very thorough with her work attendant and listen which makes best of the team effort.
From day one FIRST LIGHT has been our home care for our our Veteran son after his stroke which rendered him nonverbal and paralyzed on the right side. Our FIRST LIGHT Care Aids that have been with us from the beginning are like family. When they arrive They go straight to work after greeting our son. The care they give is over 100%. They are GENUINELY called to do their job. Their interactions with our son are AWESOME and VERY PROFESSIONAL. When extra Care is needed based on a situation that has arisen they are right on it. Also, they’ve been known to notice something that we missed earlier in the day. FIRST LIGHT is a a top-notch COMPANY with the best Care Aids that WE have had the pleasure of having in our home. FIRST LIGHT has constantly been at our side for the last 3 years. FROM DAY ONE FIRST LIGHT HAS BEEN IN OUR HOME HELPING US WITH OUR SON. I WOULDN’T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.

I’ve worked very closely with some of their staff and clients since I am in the long term care insurance business with Mutual of Omaha and am just amazed with how involved they are in such a positive way with the community and their clients. FirstLight is one of the few home health care companies I know of that regularly send out a supervisor to make sure everything service-wise is being provided at a level that can never be less than excellent, AND they accept long-term care insurance as a way to cover all costs. She is truly a difference maker in so many lives and I am so grateful to have met her!

While we looked at several home healthcare agencies, one of our primary reasons for choosing First Light was the fact that their staff are employees versus agency personnel. Both Jennifer and Janice were very responsive when we called with an emergent need and were able to quickly accommodate and set up services for our loved one who was just returning from a hospital stay. The staff who worked with our loved one were on time, professional, and kept us informed via the First Light contact.
