Prior to opening FirstLight Home Care in West Houston, Namita spent over 8 years as a successful entrepreneur owning and managing upscale quick service restaurant franchise and nearly 10 years in various allied health positions within the healthcare industry, most recently as a Medical Technologist with world renowned UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Although Namita found success in her career, she had a deep-rooted feeling that she could and should be doing more to help others in the community on a more personal level.

Namita’s first-hand experiences caring for her own aging family members led her to the home health care industry. In college, Namita was a caregiver for her grandfather, who she knew wanted to remain in his own home for as long as possible. Later, Namita became the primary caregiver for her father who was battling survival from heart attack and stroke. Recognizing the incredible amount of stress and responsibility placed on family caregivers, Namita’s vision to open an in-home care business was born. It was her ardent passion to provide senior care to aging seniors to fulfill their desire to remain independent in their own homes. After much research and due diligence, FirstLight Home Care turned out to be the obvious choice because of its dedication to client satisfaction, focus on “Culture of Care” throughout the system and an unparalleled screening process for Quality Caregivers. Namita has built an incomparable team of compassionate caregivers in Houston to provide exceptional senior home care services while maintaining the happiness and wellness of the senior and disabled population of Metro Houston.

Namita has a burning desire to make FirstLight Home Care of West Houston a valuable resource for those in need.
