We were arranging for FirstLight services for my very elderly mom who was in her last week or so to help my dad in caring for her. Taylor quickly arranged her schedule to come see us since we needed to start services (to supplement hospice) ASAP. When she arrived, her friendliness and caring nature was immediately apparent. She provided a lot of information, answered questions, and assured her personal availability to help on the first day while we waited an extra day for the official care to start. This was critical as we had an overlapping day or two where my dad was not going to have other family help. All the while, she talked in quiet, comforting tones since my mom was sleeping nearby. When my mom slipped away more quickly than anticipated—before we needed FirstLight services, Taylor reached out with condolences and even stopped by with flowers. She truly is in the right field and is a caregiver who cares!!
What a spectacular place to host an event. Taylor and the team were wonderful. They went above and beyond the personal touch. They made everyone feel welcome. Friendsgiving was a total success. She is truly a gem for FirstLight Home Care.

I’m so grateful for the caregivers at First Light scheduled for my Mom. My family had a bad experience with another caregiver company, not every caregiver in that team, but some of them, it left us with a bad taste for hiring help for Mom. But our experience with First Light was totally different, they train the staff well, they communicate well with the caregivers and with the family. Every staff member went above and beyond and did a great job. We especially loved Ty who cared for Mom most days and Mom really liked her. If you need caregivers, hire FirstLight!

The best of the best, Heather is so sweet and patient. Letti is the GOAT, she’s always there when you need her and the whole team is super helpful! I’ve never worked for a better nursing company. First Light began helping my mother around June of 2015 and their Caregivers helped
my mom until she passed in October 2020. My
mom lived in an Independent Living Senior Residence and was able to take care of everything herself for 10 years. When she started having some trouble getting dressed and up to breakfast on time, First Light Caregivers started coming to help with that. Through the next 5 years, the caregivers did more and more things to help my mom keep
her independence and not have to move to Assisted Living. Besides helping my mom, First Light helped me as primary caregiver by making me feel confident that my mom’s needs were being taken care of whether I was there or not. The caregivers were so kind and helpful to my mom. She called the caregivers”Her Girls”. She loved them and it didn’t take long to see that they loved my mom as a person and not just a client.My mom ended up having the same caregivers the last few years and they truly became family to my mom and our whole family. There are not enough words to list all the things the caregivers did for my mom( and in turn, for me) for the last 5 years of her life. First Light was with my mom , even after Hospice had to be called in. My mom had dementia for her last few years and may have forgotten the names of some of her caregivers, but I could always see the recognition and trust in her eyes when she saw them. Their love and support was amazing and so appreciated.. My mom’s
longest caregiver drove almost 200 miles to our hometown to attend my mom’s funeral. I was surprised to see her there at first, but in my heart I knew she would be with my mom until the very end. I ( and my whole family) have so much love and gratitude for First Light and my mom’s caregivers. They truly were a Godsend
to us all, but especially to my mom. They were the best for us in every way.
